The only near-death experience I'm confident of was Christ's. And bear in mind that "believers" say he was in Heaven with God for endless millions of years before turning into a baby. I prefer to focus on action aimed at resuts. Not "beliefs."

I don't think we'll understand anytime soon what we don't understand now. The Church has PROOF of THOUSANDS of "miracles." WOW! Why rely on a small number of people who are said to have come back from the dead and give utterly unverified accounts. Until i see the people still alive and waiting for the Kingdom of God for 2000 years, I won't be convinced.

"We don't know how life began, therefore Goddidit" isn't an argument, it's the logical fallacy of argument from ignorance, and a non sequitur as well.

He was not dead when he was taken down from the cross. Stranger things than that happen in our timre ("return from the dead") and we don't attribute religious significance to them. "Many now alive will live to see God's Kingdom on earth." Really! Who are they? Where is that? Trying to turn Conservatism into a religion? Counterproductive.

Andrew, many, many, many people who "returned from the dead" or had NDEs (near death experiences) report it being a very religious experience. Many of them who were not Christian at the time, and some of whom had never even heard of Jesus, report meeting a being meeting that description, whose message comports with that recorded in the New Testament. Only later did they realize they had encountered Christ. Stay humble and keep an open mind as to possibilities. There is much that humankind does not yet understand.
